009: Thanksgiving | Our Fount of Every Blessing
Page and I have truly enjoyed our latest two podcasts focusing on two important aspects of gratitude. In Episode 8, we talk about the common struggle of contentment, and in today’s episode we talk about giving thanks. More specifically, we discuss all the spiritual blessings we have as listed in Ephesians 1.
We also take a closer look at Robert Robinson’s hymn, “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing” and the story behind it.
We hope you’ll take time to listen to our show and share your thoughts either in a comment below or in our Facebook Group, Meanwhile Moments.
SHOW NOTES
While there is so much to be thankful for in Christ, we share four in our podcast which we hope you’ll meditate on throughout the week.
We are thankful that:
- God is the Source of all spiritual blessings.
- The greatest blessings are eternal.
- God is the source of joy in this world and beyond.
- God is our Source of discontent with this world.
We encourage you to take some time this Thanksgiving week to read Ephesians 1 for yourself, count each blessing you see and list them on a piece of paper as you go along.

We’ve created a Thanksgiving Coloring Sheet that encourages children to list what they’re thankful for. Some writing help may be needed from mom and dad.
